Hill wins two Considerate Constructors Awards
Congratulations to our 243 Ealing Road and Lakewood teams who each won a Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Award last week at the prestigious London awards ceremony.
The CCS awards don’t just recognise exceptional standards in construction, they also identify best practice in consideration towards the local neighbourhood, general public, and workforce, as well as the care shown by the constructors towards the environment.
Two of our developments received Bronze awards, which is a fantastic achievement and recognises the hard work and commitment that we have to not only creating places people want to live, but also building in a way which works in harmony with the local community.
243 Ealing Road, a joint venture with Network Living is a large and complex development of 441 apartments situated alongside the Grand Union Canal in Alperton, London. The development, which is now 63% sold, proved so popular that our teams have had to increase the construction programme to meet demand. By working efficiently as a strong and committed team with our joint venture partners and our supply chain, we have been able to meet these ambitious targets and the development is now on track to be completed in January 2016 – 18 months ahead of schedule!
The second winning site is Lakewood, a £34 million regeneration project in Tunbridge Wells. We are working in a close partnership with Town & Country Housing Group on this development, which incorporates four phases, and will deliver 324 homes, as well as a new neighbourhood park and community square.
