We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting a children’s friendly tag rugby tournament at Cambridge’s Big Weekend alongside Cambridge Rugby Club!

If you know someone who has their sights set joining the future British and Irish Lions Squad, fancies themselves as the next Sam Warburton, or has always dreamed of staring down the All Blacks during their Hakka, then why not encourage them to join us and Cambridge Rugby Club next weekend on Saturday 8th July?

It is free to participate and all players will receive an exclusive goody bag. Members from the CRUFC will also be taking part in the tournament to provide top tips for the players – as well as cheering on from the side lines!

The tournament will be grouped into under 9’s and under 12’s, with each team playing up to four matches between 12pm and 3pm at Parkers Piece in Cambridge.

The Cambridge Big Weekend has been a firm favourite in our social calendar for several years and we are thrilled to be supporting the local community to come together. As a housebuilder we fully relate to this year’s theme of building new communities and this year’s event is set to be another fun-filled festival which brings people together from across Cambridge. On the day of the final Lions test in New Zealand, the ultimate sporting example of communities coming together, we will be running a tag rugby competition for primary school children from across Cambridgeshire. We want as many teams to sign-up as possible and hope that parents and teachers motivate their schools to get involved!
