Whilst this change will impact everyone planning to move, first-time buyers will be most affected.
- If you are a first-time buyer and purchase a two-bedroom house priced at £550,000, until 31st March you'll pay £6,250. From 1st April 2025, this changes to £17,500.
- If you are a first-time buyer and purchase a two-bedroom apartment priced at £434,950, until 31st March you'll pay £497. From 1st April 2025, this changes to £6,747.
