Say ‘I do’ to sustainable living at Virido!
We are pleased to announce that our Virido homes will launch this weekend! Available from the 15th April, these new homes in Cambridge are unique in their concept, with energy efficiency being at the forefront of their design.
The apartments, duplexes and houses offer a greener way to live, and are all built to Code for Sustainable Homes level 5. The homes include many sustainable features designed to promote a zero carbon, eco-friendly approach, including solar panels, mechanical ventilation heat recovery systems, drying cupboards and airtightness. These features combine to ensure that Virido encourages an achievable energy-efficient lifestyle.
To ensure that our sustainable technology was of the highest quality, we ran a competition and had a family live in our ‘Be Zero’ concept house, rent and bill free for a year, so that they could trial our initiatives. This enabled us to take valuable feedback and incorporate the family’s practical experience into the design of our Virido homes to make sure that they were ready for release.
The 15 homes are located in the heart of Great Kneighton, an exciting new neighbourhood, and will focus around Hobson Square, which will include a health centre, library, shops and offices. Located in the south of Cambridge, Virido is just 2.7 miles from the city centre and 2.1 miles away from Cambridge train station, as well as next to the Cambridge guided busway and cycleway.
1 bedroom apartments start from £329,950, and houses are available from £699,950. Register your interest in these new homes today on our website, or alternative speak to a member of our sales team on 01223 792555.
