Celebrating Excellence at our 2024 Trainee of the Year Awards
Over 130 people attended The Hill Group’s 2024 Trainee of the Year Awards, held at the Marriott in Waltham Abbey, Essex. Hosted by Andy Hill OBE, founder and Group Chief Executive, the ceremony celebrated all of the management trainees and the remarkable work they have achieved over the past year.
Seven outstanding individuals were recognised by the company’s Management Trainee Programme. Designed to train the next generation of leaders in the housebuilding industry, the programme offers trainees a competitive salary, direct employment within the Group, and fully funds their BSc (Hons) degree over five years.
Winning this award is an honour. I am super grateful, and it is really unexpected. I would like to say a massive thanks to the team for supporting me over the last few years, and to Andy for supporting us as trainees.

This year, Hill proudly welcomed 40 trainees into the business via the scheme, bringing the total number of trainees at the company to 143. All trainees work alongside skilled employees to receive hands-on training as they rotate through a variety of disciplines, ensuring all elements of the development and build processes are experienced, all while working towards a rewarding career in housebuilding.
