David Eardley joins as new Regional Director
We are delighted to welcome David Eardley as our new Regional Director.
David will lead on the first phase of 240 new homes at our North West Cambridge development, a major scheme with the University of Cambridge. It is our largest residential development to date and will eventually see a new community of up to 3,000 homes, together with new university facilities, a primary school sponsored by the University, a supermarket and a large luxury hotel.
With more than 25 years in the housebuilding industry, including ten of his most recent at one of the UK’s largest housebuilders, David brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.
The chance to assist, grow and develop the business across the region is a once in a lifetime opportunity. My experience of working on a range of schemes, including high-rises, traditional builds and high-end homes, will bring a new perspective to Hill’s work in the region as we increasingly take on large scale projects such as North West Cambridge. Hill is a very dynamic housebuilder and is going through a very exciting time of growth. The company’s recent success at the WhatHouse? Awards demonstrates Hill’s enviable reputation as a leading housebuilder so I am delighted to be part of the team that have worked together to make this possible.
We have also just announced plans to build 107 new apartments as part of the North West Cambridge site. The apartments will occupy a landmark position on the development’s main thoroughfare, Eddington Avenue. These homes will overlook Storey’s Field cricket pitch and will be situated adjacent to an array of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
