Hill adds three Silvers to its list of accolades at the WhatHouse? Awards!
We are delighted to announce that Hill was awarded with three awards last week at the WhatHouse? Awards 2017.
The first award presented to Hill at the event was the Silver Award for Best Medium Housebuilder of the Year, crediting our financial performance, successful partnerships and design quality. The judges of the award also said that Hill “doesn’t miss a beat in the enduring quality of its work and the boldness and breadth of its ambition”.
The second award of the evening was awarded to Woodside Square, our development in Muswell Hill in partnership with Hanover, which consists of a selection of age-exclusive over 55’s apartments, as well as non-age exclusive houses and converted Heritage Apartments. We were delighted that the over 55’s section of the development won silver for Best Retirement Development.
Our final award was silver for Best Renovation, given to Anstey Hall Barns. The development, located in Trumpington, Cambridge, consists of four new build homes and eight converted barns. The original barns date back to Saxon times, and were restored into unique, contemporary homes. Two of the converted barns are Grade II listed, while the others are curtilage listed or listed by attachment. When speaking about Anstey Hall Barns, the judges commented that the use of materials plays a large part in the scheme’s success, as well as the use of BIM technology to renovate the buildings efficiently and precisely.
Many congratulations to our teams involved in the specific award winning projects, and to Team Hill overall for another successful year!
