Hill celebrates new joint venture and unanimous planning approval at Clerk Maxwell Road!
We are delighted to announce that we have gained unanimous approval by the Cambridge Country Council Planning Committee for our Clerk Maxwell Road development in Cambridge.
The project is our first joint venture with Trinity College Cambridge, and is set to deliver 35 new houses and apartments as well as parking, cycle parking and associated infrastructure. 21 of the new homes will be private for market sale, and the remaining 14 will be affordable, delivered for Cambridge City Council.
The site was formerly home to the Trinity College Cocks and Hens Tennis club, which was relocated in 2016.
We’re thrilled to have had our planning proposal for the Clerk Maxwell Road scheme unanimously approved and look forward to beginning work on the project. It was highly rewarding to hear the positive comments our proposed design received from the committee. This collaborative partnership with Trinity will deliver much needed new homes in this prime location in the City of Cambridge. We’re confident these 35 new properties will be delivered to exceed expectations and meet the needs of the community.
The proposals were well received, with comments describing the project as “quite well considered” and “refreshing”.
We look forward to starting work with Trinity College Cambridge on the project.
