Hill joins celebrations for Greenfields launch event!
We were proud to join our partners, Aldwyck Housing Group, for the official opening of the Greenfields development in Leighton Buzzard last week.
Greenfields is Aldwyck’s first Independent Living scheme, providing much-needed new homes to meet the needs of an aging population.
The mixed development provides 82 one and two bedroom apartments exclusively for the cover 55’s community, with 50 for affordable rent and 32 for shared ownership. Greenfields residents can experience independent living with their own private apartment. Home care services are available to all residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the flexibility to increase the volume of care based on their specific needs over time. Greenfields is fully-wheelchair accessible, and each apartment is designed with a hidden hoist facility which can easily be adapted as and when needed. Guest rooms are also available to book to allow friends and family who may be visiting residents from further afield
The development was created with a clear shared vision: to create a social, neighbourly space to bring people together and involve them with the Greenfields community. The development offers a restaurant, coffee shop, beauty salon, bookable community room and many more communal facilities, creating a social hub for its residents and the wider community.
