Hill Reaches 22nd in the Sunday Times Top Track 250!
The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Fast Track Top Track 250 ranks Britain’s fastest growing private companies and we are delighted to announce that we have climbed 16 places since 2018 to place 22nd on the prestigious list.
As a top 20 UK housebuilder and the third largest privately-owned housebuilder in the UK, we are extremely proud of how far we have been able to climb up the Top Track 250 list in just a short number of years. We are now in the top 10% of the list, compared to 2016, when we were placed 51st.
Thanks to our innovative work in joint venture, in addition to our work building both private sale and affordable properties across the south east, we have been able to keep up our growing momentum during our 20th year as a company.
In 2018, we reported a turnover of more than £500m for the first time, an increase of over 20% compared to the previous year. Our pre-tax profits also increased for the tenth year running.
We are also extremely proud that our impressive expansion as a family-owned housebuilder has not meant a compromise in quality, as we were named a 5 star housebuilder once again this year.
